The Faces of Lung Cancer is a project led by the Thoracic Oncology Program at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL and photo-documentaryist Beth Reynolds of the Photodocumentary Press, Inc. The book is a collection of stories and photographs of patients, caregivers and health professionals sharing their experiences with dealing with a lung cancer diagnosis and the decision to participate in a clinical trial. With this project, we wish to communicate a message of hope to new patients. Hope doesn’t always mean the promise of remission or cure, but rather the peace of mind that a person is doing his or her best and making the best decisions for his or her own situation. The patients, caregivers and health professionals depicted in the “Faces of Lung Cancer” don’t tell us about hope, they show it. Photographs and essays by Beth Reynolds Price of Book: $25.00 (includes shipping and handling). A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this book is donated to the Lung Cancer Caring Ambassadors Program. All funds obtained from the sale of this book are used to support the expansion of the Faces of Lung Cancer Project. To order the Faces of Lung Cancer book, please download and print the order form.
