About the Constellation of Love Quilt

The Constellation of Love Quilt is many pieces of cloth that have been sown, matched, and placed in just the right places. But the quilt is more than just a work of art, it is tangible manifestation of love.

The Constellation of Love Quilt was made by the young hearts and hands of Mrs. Ann Smith’s 2005 5th grade class from Eleanor Roosevelt Elementary School in Vancouver, Washington. These children, along with others, carry the future hope, faith, and love of all those affected by lung cancer. The quilt means a great deal to Caring Ambassadors Lung Cancer Program. It provides a focal point for awareness, and inspires us all to work together for those living with lung cancer. The Caring Ambassadors Lung Cancer Program is honored to have been chosen to receive this work of love.

CAP Lung Cancer is committed to keeping alive the dedication, love, and inspiration that went into making the Constellation of Love Quilt by loaning it for lung cancer events and project throughout the country.
